On December 10th, Veloz convened our board leaders, members, and key industry partners in our nation’s capital to celebrate the holiday season and commemorate Veloz’s longtime goal of expanding our programs and impact across the U.S.
Veloz has spent the last several years intentionally developing our leadership and membership nationwide, driving EV adoption with the launch of our first national Electric For All Campaign – The Way Forward is Electric, and positioning ourselves as the source for fact-based strategic communications and thought leadership.
Serena McIlwain, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Environment and Veloz Public Policy Board Member, opened the party with a note about the power of coming together around a shared goal:
“From my experience, Veloz knows how to convene. They bring everyone to the table, surface and address barriers to EV adoption, build synergy across all sectors, and make the policy landscape easier to navigate — not just in one state, but across the country. Just look around this room: you’ll see utilities, automakers, tech companies, start-ups, state leaders like me, advocates, and more. We’re all stepping up and helping to meet this moment and keeping the momentum going.”
