About Veloz

Veloz is a nonprofit organization with unparalleled stakeholder leadership made up of a high-powered, diverse board and members from key sector companies, agencies and nonprofits. Our name means fast because we know we must move quickly. The world’s vehicles are going electric, but not yet fast enough, which is where Veloz comes in.

California Governor Gavin Newsom addresses Veloz Summit on March 9, 2021.

Vision

The future is electric for all. All vehicles are electric; all people, corporations and agencies who want or need a vehicle can and do choose electric; and all energy that powers these vehicles is carbon-free.

Mission

Veloz aims to make electric for all a reality by engaging its powerhouse of members, public-private partnerships, programs, policy engagement and public campaigns to overcome electrification barriers and create a virtuous cycle of desire and demand.

A Foundation of Success

Veloz builds on the success of the California Plug-In Electric Vehicle Collaborative, a public-private partnership founded in 2010 to convene, collaborate and communicate on emerging electric vehicle market trends, address challenges and enable strong market growth.

Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Veloz values equity, diversity and inclusion. Our membership and leadership reflect strongly-held principles around diversity of race, perspective, background and sector. We are committed to be an inclusive and transparent organization.
