About Veloz

Veloz is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit that harnesses its diverse, national membership coalition to rapidly accelerate transportation electrification through strategic communications, unprecedented collaborations and purposeful convenings.

Our industry programs move systems by uniting executive-level leaders across public and private sectors to address structural barriers and advance effective policy frameworks through benefits-based policy education. Our Electric For All consumer programs move people by addressing state-level barriers to EV adoption and increasing awareness and purchase consideration through education grounded in real-world benefits.

Veloz’s industry and consumer programs work together as a dual motor to bridge the gap from policy to the driveway.

Vision

The future of transportation is electric for all.

Mission

Veloz is a unique public-private nonprofit driving toward 100% zero-emission vehicles through strategic communications, unprecedented collaborations and purposeful convening.

Theory of Change

Veloz’s theory of change illustrates a framework in which we deploy programs, projects and partnerships to drive specific and needed change and, from the very beginning of the organization, we have used this frame to guide, create and measure impact.

Our recently updated theory of change posits that transportation pollution threatens human health, our economy and the planet, demanding a fast transition to zero-emission vehicles — and the global multi-trillion dollar zero-emission vehicle market will deliver benefits for all.

Veloz is uniquely positioned to execute high-leverage opportunities to overcome the three most common barriers to zero-emission vehicle adoption: consumer awareness, upfront cost and charging infrastructure.

We see a world in which all people and goods are moved by electricity and all people who want a vehicle can choose electric. We ask, ‘who isn’t here yet?’ and we open doors for them. We are dedicated to achieving equitable and inclusive access to zero-emission vehicles.
