Spencer Reeder joined Audi in 2018 as director of Government Affairs and leads the Audi U.S. public policy voice on zero-emissions vehicles (ZEVs), including battery electric and alternative fuels technology.

Before joining Audi, he worked with Vulcan, Inc., where he was director of the Climate and Energy Program and led Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s global philanthropic investments in climate, energy and transportation-related issues. Reeder was a lead author on the 2014 U.S. National Climate Assessment and earlier served as Lead Policy Strategist for Climate Change at the Washington State Department of Ecology. He has also held research and engineering roles with The Boeing Company, focusing on advanced aerospace materials.

Reeder holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Washington and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from University of Colorado.
